What does it mean to be a citizen of the world? The idea that one's identity transcends geography and politics, to form a broader state.
But following a global pandemic, paused physical connection & social distance- its hard to grasp that idea at face value. And given the state of the world & the very real racial tension within it- it has sparked a dialogue instead, on what it means to be united as human beings. The theme for our newest capsule centers on global connectivity through our shared journeys, stories and experiences.
Experience being the currency by which we open ourselves up to learn about different cultures, foreign environments and the people that occupy them. Whether that happens abroad, or in our own backyards. It’s a visualization of the days ahead. A lens pointed towards connectivity, the freedom to move, work, and travel with no limits. And a hope that we can soon partake in not just shared experiences, but in making the world a better and more peaceful place for everyone.
